The term “marketing” is tossed around broadly to describe a number of different activities, from advertising to communications to research and everything in between. Here at Red Nova Labs, “marketing” means connecting customers to solutions. In our case, that’s all activities required to generate leads in property management sectors.

With 90% or so of its leads coming through the web – upwards of half via the mobile web – our tools and talents center on the Internet. Given the general public’s heavy reliance on search engines, we must cover a complex matrix of tactics to (1) drive web traffic, (2) filter in qualified leads and (3) convert those leads quickly. It’s a distinctive challenge that requires diligent attention to numbers and news.

Not to overlook the peripheral marketing requirements... Property management targets a broad audience yet has a unique B2B trade feel with regard to branding and communications. That’s why:

We don’t get caught up in buzz words like “viral campaigning” or consumer fads like QR codes—although we do consistently educate ourselves on such trends so we can quickly tap into meaningful movements. Our attention is largely fixed on market research, business goals, technological expertise, and evolving UI standards.

We produce great content.

Content is simply this critical to online marketing. Good writing, like good photography, requires a skill that not everyone possesses. Writing for web and mobile is different than writing memos, whitepapers and even ads. We cover the gamut with our content, publishing quality meaningful writing. We also produce graphics, animation, audio and video.

We're not yes-men.

Some people appreciate our frankness, some don’t. So if someone is looking for an ego boost rather than a bottom-line boost, we’re not the solution. The way we see it, we all might as well be flushing our marketing dollars down the drain if we’re not challenging each other’s’ thinking. That’s what it takes to drive real results to the business.
