Before joining Red Nova Labs, Jodi Nelson spent 10 years working in online learning, courseware development and property management systems. During that time, she worked as an Executive Assistant, Desktop Publisher, and Office Manager, at times wearing all of these hats simultaneously. Jodi spent five long years in the construction industry doing office and project management work, including payroll, project billing, AR/AP, collections, change orders, bids, advertising and human resources. Jodi landed her first high-powered job at the tender age of 16, breading chicken for Albertson’s Deli, which taught her pretty much everything she needed to know about the business world.

Jodi’s official job title is Marketing Envoy; her reality, she says, is Marketing Minion. From her home office in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jodi assists and supports our CMO with whatever needs to be accomplished. That includes everything from marketing promos to editing content to CMO therapy.

• Jodi likes playing Scrabble, singing karaoke, drinking Diet Coke, watching episodes of Flight of the Conchords, Funny or Die, and just about anything on HGTV. She enjoys spending time with her sweet niece, lying on white sandy beaches in the hot sun, reading fiction and taking naps.
