The Objective

Small businesses often start out with static websites that serve as little more than online billboards. Project CIP set out to greatly improve customer service by offering advanced online file sharing and commerce features like gallery-style picture viewing and online ordering. The website upgrade was expected to bring in new customers as well as to enhance relationships with current customers.

The Challenge

As a creative services website, Project CIP would need to mix a unique, artsy look with a simple interface that would be friendly to different demographics—from young web-savvy brides to golden anniversary couples. For the online photo albums, an easy-to-use system would need to be built so that people could update and share their photos without programming know-how.

The Solution

Project CIP's design enhances the studio's work instead of taking away or distracting from it. The site showcases numerous photography services and samples in an exciting, colorful manner. Integration with a third-party eCommerce site supported online ordering without the expense of custom programming. Detailed instructions are provided for how to purchase photos from different events.

Results

The photography studio is tremendously successful in all of its markets, and many of its clients found the studio via the website.
