Director of Engineering
Michael graduated from Pittsburg State University with a degree he vaguely remembers. After eight years writing software for mutual funds, he spent ten years making websites for comic strips. (One of them was way more fun than the other.) He enjoys traveling and live music and taking improv classes and has achieved an embarrassingly high level on Candy Crush. He lives in Overland Park with his two artistically talented kids.
What Michael does at RNL
Michael attends a lot of meetings so our brilliant engineers can focus on developing great software for our clients. He also gives free haircuts.

It's the duty of the comedian to find out where the line is drawn and cross it deliberately. - George Carlin
Describe your favorite childhood memory.
My great-aunt owned a "gentleman's club" in Southeast Kansas where we would have Thanksgiving every year. Aunt Pat would give us rolls of quarters to play pool and PacMan. The bar was covered with the potluck, and all the soda you could drink flowed from the tap. We never thought it was weird that the wall was covered with 8x10 glossies of strippers.
Tell us the nerdiest thing about you.
I recently hosted a Virtual Reality party, and too many of my nerd friends showed up for everyone to get a turn. Even they made fun of my Millennium Falcon-themed master bathroom.
